Biography:
David’s legal practice focuses on helping those who have suffered serious personal injuries. David represents individuals and families affected by catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, motor vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, medical malpractice, and other serious personal injury claims across the state. Prior to joining the firm, David spent over twenty years as a catastrophic injury defense attorney where he represented companies, large insurers, truck drivers, hospital systems, doctors, and other professionals. As a result, David is uniquely positioned to leverage his experience working for those large organizations and insurers to effectively represent those that have been injured. Simply put, David understands the “paybook” used by insurance companies to deny or defend claims and lawsuits. He effectively uses this knowledge to ensure that his clients are fully and justly compensated for their losses. His understanding of insurance company strategies, combined with a strategic and aggressive approach to each case, gives his clients a unique advantage in complex injury cases. David grew up in Raleigh and attended college at UNCW and law school at Wake Forest University. He lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children. Outside of the office, David spends his free time with family, at the movies, and working out.
